Christ’s Church of Mason City Iowa is seeking to fill the position of Senior Minister.
This position will function in harmony with the congregation and youth minister under the direction of the Elders. The Senior Minister will fulfill all normal duties associated with the position such as preaching sermons, performing weddings and funerals, counseling and enriching the spiritual lives of the members, calling on prospective members and encouraging spiritual growth and attendance as well as planning outreach events to the community, etc. This is a Full-time position.
Requirements:
This position requires a BA or higher from a restoration college.
The Senior Minister will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the principles of Christianity as set forth in the New Testament.
Have a passion for seeing the church grow.
Have a willingness to fulfill the many duties required.
Be compatible with Christ’s Church Doctrinal beliefs.
Have the ability to connect with multiple age groups.
Mason City, Iowa is a town in North Central Iowa of about 28,000 people. Known as River City, there is a lot of history in the town from Music Man Square to Frank Lloyd Wright buildings. There are many parks around town. Mason City is also home to the North Iowa Bulls hockey team. Clear Lake Iowa is only a 10 minute drive for great fishing, boating, and other aquatic entertainment.
Christ’s Church has a great relationship with North Iowa Christian School in Mason City as well. Many of our students attend the school.
