Grace Community Fellowship Overview:
Grace Community Fellowship is a nondenominational, evangelical church centrally located in Eugene, Oregon (a suburban, college town with a metro population of 350,000+.) The church has grown steadily since its launch in 1980, averaging over 750 weekly attendance (500 adults, 250 kids/youth) in 2019 and currently has 400 in-person attenders (+ 100 online engagers) that is growing as pandemic restrictions loosen. The church recently completed building a multi-million-dollar youth facility. Grace is a contemporary, innovative, multi-staff church.

Youth Ministry Overview:
Grace Community Fellowship has a solid track record of vibrant youth ministry. Comprising of a middle school ministry and high school ministry, the youth ministry currently has 50-80 students attending weekly youth gatherings (reaching over 100 students a month) and draws students from almost every school in the area. The characteristics of the youth ministry are an emphasis on small groups, evangelism, camp, a college internship program, and student leadership development.

Status: Full-time, salaried, exempt
Hours: Sunday through Thursday

General Duties
Lead, develop, and oversee all aspects the middle school and high school ministry.
We are searching for a candidate with the following character, competencies, and chemistry.

· Displays a love for Jesus Christ, His church, and ministry to youth
· Aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Grace Community Fellowship
· Integrity in character, relationships, and actions (inside and outside “the office”)
· Confidential and respectful
Competencies
· Work in alignment with the staff team to fulfill the vision and values of the church.
· Cast vision and maintain values for youth ministry
· Set short-term and long-term goals and execute action steps towards their completion
· Recruit, train, and retain high quality volunteers and interns
· Plan, organize, and communicate ministry calendar
· Equip, encourage, and resource parents for the discipling of their student(s)
· Lead youth camps, trips, and events
· Teach on a regular basis in youth gatherings and as needed in other venues
· Steward youth ministry budget
· Lead a group(s) of students (ex: student leadership team, seniors)
· Delegate ministry tasks to others (as appropriate)
· Manage and maintain all youth ministry assets (including meeting spaces)
· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
· Able to affirm our statement of faith, mission, vision, and values
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in youth ministry, church ministry, or Bible/theology
· At least 3 years of experience working in youth ministry
· Strong public speaking skills
· Planning and organizational skills
· Strong social media engagement skills preferred
