God has led us to fully invest in our children and families at Berea. We are excited to bring in a new staff member that will pour the love of Jesus into the lives of those here at Berea and reach outside of Berea into the community. We began this pursuit with the hiring of our first-ever full-time children’s minister in the Fall of 2019. She began serving in January of 2020. Our current children’s minister has done an incredible job. Even through the pandemic, the ministry has grown. As God has blessed us with continued growth churchwide in this new year, we do not want to lose any of the momentum she has helped to build. Her departure is a result of some difficulties that have arisen over the past year for her and her husband’s family. God provided them with an opportunity to move back home and serve in a ministry there. We are excited that she will be here to help with the transition and assist the one God leads in our direction in whatever ways are needed.
Our vision for this position allows the ministry to be fully connected to the overall vision and mission of the church. We desire for our staff to be connected and collaborative in all aspects of our ministries.
