Residential Direct Care Youth Worker

Shelterwood is a residential treatment center for teens located on 220 wooded acres thirty minutes outside of Kansas City, Missouri.

We are currently looking for energetic, highly motivated, responsible and mature individuals looking to become life-changing mentors for at-risk teens. Driven by faith, it is through life-on-life relationships that our staff communicates wisdom, direction, hope and encouragement to teenagers struggling with mental and behavioral health conditions.

You will be part of a passionate and supportive ministry team of Christian therapists, mentors and staff where you will be encouraged to grow in Christ through service, discipleship and community. We have immediate openings for part-time and full-time hourly positions for all shifts. Full-time positions include excellent medical benefits.

Candidates usually have a Bachelors’ degree in related fields such as youth ministry, psychology, social work OR demonstrable experience working with youth. A background check and character reference is required.
