Cadence International Student Ministry provides life-transforming teaching, mentoring, and authentic relationships within innovative weekly programs, annual retreats, and unique equipping opportunities for these incredible young people. Job Description
Cadence International is an evangelical mission agency dedicated to reaching the military communities of the United States and of the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Student ministry missionaries come alongside military chaplains to reach, disciple, mentor, and mobilize middle school and high school students in a military community. Programs are tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each military community and provide powerful environments of love for military students to gather, grow, and then go to their next location.
Every ministry has program elements for students, regardless of their level of spiritual maturity, and are designed to help them move toward becoming mature disciples of Christ. Students will experience individual personal care from missionaries and volunteers who share a heart to minister to military students. Each year, CSM hosts retreats where students experience Christ in the context of caring adults, friends, and memorable fun. These events create a relational environment where biblical truth is lived and proclaimed allowing students to hear, experience, discuss, and respond to Jesus.
Our Cadence missionaries seek to develop student leaders in each community. This is accomplished through ongoing ministry team development throughout the year and also specific events that encourage, train, and equip students to serve and share Christ with their peers.
If you have a desire to serve teenagers, who are not only going through the typical teenager growing pains, but also dealing with the difficulties and uncertainties of military life, by sharing the love of Jesus Christ through the powerful medium of relational ministry, then Cadence may be a great fit for you!
Cadence is a faith-based ministry requiring that their missionaries raise their monthly support through friends, family, and church community. All appointed missionaries are partnered with an MPD coach (Ministry of Partnership Development) to encourage and guide them through this process. Those whom God calls, He equips!
We presently have full-time Youth Ministry opportunities across the United States, Europe, and Japan. Previous military experience is not required, just servant hearts!
