Olla Methodist Church is located in the northwest corner of LaSalle Parish in North Central Louisiana. Olla, Louisiana is within approximately 50 miles of Monroe, Alexandria, Natchez and Natchitoches. Our small church is home to the towns of Olla, Urania and Tullos and is surrounded by pine and deciduous forests; the area’s beauty has attracted hunters from all over the United States. As an independent church that disaffiliated from the United Methodist denomination, we have a Wesleyan background and believe in the statements of the Apostle’s Creed. We are seeking someone who believes the Bible is the word of God and that the Bible (Word of God) does not change as the world changes.
As of the 2020 United States Census, the population of Lasalle Parish was 14,791. Students from Olla, Urania and Tullos attend school on the north end of LaSalle Parish. These schools have a low student to teacher ratio which allows the students to build meaningful relationships. LaSalle High School is known for their athletic sports with a loyal fan following, academic achievements and is regularly ranked as the top school in the parish.
The pastor of our church has a newly renovated parsonage next door to the Olla Methodist Church. The parsonage is a three-bedroom, two bath brick home complete with all appliances, a two-car open garage and a fenced back yard. Our goal is to find a Spirit led, biblically grounded Christian to lead our church to lost individuals.
Our church attendance is assorted with a variety of generations. One of the strengths of Olla Methodist Church is our youth group. On any given Sunday or Wednesday, our small church has numerous charismatic youth. Youth service projects, mission trips, and fundraiser events are planned on an almost weekly basis.

2. Responsible for planning and leading education programs including Bible Study and other educational programs.
3. Provide pastoral care for needs of the congregation.
4. Guide us as to grow deeper in our relationship with God as faithful followers of Christ.
5. Works with church committees to develop and administer various programs.
6. Be visible and involved in community activities to share our beliefs and bring more to our church family.
7. Participate in outreach programs both within and outside our community.
