First Baptist Church (FBC) of Morton is prayerfully seeking the next man God has in store for us! We are seeking our next Senior Pastor to shepherd the people of FBC Morton. We are a Southern Baptist bible-centered church that shows God’s love and acceptance by connecting people to God, to others, and to the world.
FBC Morton is a church of over 300 members. Our church has a full-time Worship and Education Minister as well as a part-time Administrative Assistant. The FBC Morton church building has a sanctuary (1981) with comfortable seating for over 250, as well as a gymnasium (2003) and over 13 available classrooms. FBC Morton has available land, contiguous to our current facility, available for potential growth. FBC Morton is debt free. FBC Morton consistently has more than 70% of our Sunday worship service attendees also attend Sunday School.
The community of Morton, Illinois has a population of over 17,000 residents. Morton is part of the Peoria Metropolitan Area, with a population of over 400,000 residents. Morton is home to Morton Community School District (709). Morton 709 consistently boasts a top 100 ranking in Illinois, according to U.S. News. We are looking for the next spiritual leader of FBC Morton. We are seeking an experienced senior pastor, who meets the biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7. This is a full-time salaried position, with a competitive compensation package which would be commensurate based on education and experience.
