The Church on Main in Columbia, MS is seeking their next Worship Pastor. This person will exhibit a clear call to ministry as well as clear musical and vocal abilities. This role will prioritize the continued development of the worship team, both vocally and instrumentally, and the development of all worship opportunities. Founded in 2003, The Church on Main is a growing church of about 250 people in weekend attendance, mostly young families,
What you’ll be doing:
- Organize celebrative, meaningful worship services
- Lead contemporary worship services
- Oversee the church’s music ministries
- Minister to the worship team and help them form a cohesive group
- Form a student praise team
- Develop a children’s worship program
Skills you need to have:
- ProPresenter, Aviom, Planning Center
- General working knowledge of sound and complementary systems
- Experience and/or education in the music field
- A passion for glorifying God and edifying the saints through music and worship
