Job Description
Suncrest Christian Church in St. John, IN, is in search of their next Student Ministries Pastor. The purpose of the Pastor of Student Ministries leadership role is to recruit, develop, and lead the leaders and volunteers who effectively partner with parents in pursuit of one goal: to see Jesus change the lives students in and around Suncrest Christian Church, the local schools, and the immediate community.
What you’ll be doing:
– Lead both middle school and high school ministries
– Create and lead a large group program and raise leaders to lead a healthy small group element
– Build a culture to encourage students to cross the line of faith and mature into living like Jesus
– Work closely with volunteer leaders and parents
– Develop strong relationships with leaders in local schools
– Create a smooth transition between grades
