This job will start out at part time and develop into full time.
The Youth Director collaborates with the Youth Pastor to provide overall direction and implementation of a biblically-based, gospel-centered, family supportive youth ministry to Mid-High and High School students. They will also provide leadership and oversight of the development of a culture of discipleship in the YTH youth program. They will develop mentors, coach volunteers and student leaders and establish an adult support team. Our youth pastors participate and support local school events, establish calendar special events, retreats and camps. They participate in weekend worship, as well as youth worship, and serve at the youth coffee bar as needed.
1-3 years of related experience in a church setting is preferred. Ability to play keyboard or guitar is a plus. This position begins at 25-30 hours per week.
