Video Coordinator

Position Title: Video Coordinator

Reports to: Production Lead

Employment Status: Full Time Hourly

Position Summary

The growing ministries at Doxa need more support than ever. This position requires a video professional who can maintain the standard of excellence held at Doxa while broadening the video resources available to all departments. The candidate must be an organized team leader who will deliver quality video and develop capable volunteers. He or she must have a discerning eye for representing Doxa’s mission and vision on screen. 

Primary Responsibility

-Produce, direct, and edit all video projects (internally produced or using outside contractors)

-Provide increased video support to all Doxa departments 

-Lead Sunday morning broadcast and develop volunteer teams

-Film and edit Doxalogic podcast

-Lead Doxa photo team and manage photo storage site

Secondary Responsibility

-Be a contributing member of the Creative Team (Worship Pastor, Production Lead,

Creative Director, Director of Operations)

-Develop a working knowledge of all Doxa tech systems

-Assist with special projects and installation of new equipment

Requirements 

-Thorough knowledge of studio video production, cameras, lighting, and video editing 

-Proficient in event photography and photo editing

-Available to work Sundays and church events including but not limited to Kids Camp and

Anniversary services. Must also have availability to work during the Easter and Christmas seasons.

Preferred Experience

-Live video production and or video switching

-Lighting design

-Cable management, cable termination, and basic soldering

Candidate Qualities

-Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies

-Personable and able to cultivate camaraderie amongst volunteer teams

-Able to climb ladders and lift 50lbs
