Creative Worship Director

Job Summary

The Creative Director is primarily responsible for leading, building, and overseeing the worship celebration for our campus and church online attenders. This role will also provide musical and technical leadership to pursue excellence for worship celebration. Additionally, the Creative Director will support the Pastor by assisting in vision casting for celebrations and training up future Creative Directors for our future church plants. Furthermore, this role will contribute to the planning, organizing, and leading of weekly worship celebrations. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Leading and building the worship celebrations

• Planning, organizing, and spiritually leading weekly worship practices and worship celebrations; to include stage design, team placement/training and sound
• Recruiting, training, and building energetic, lively, free to sing, rotating worship teams
• Planning and organizing worship celebrations to meet weekly time requirements

1. Provide musical and technical leadership pursuing excellence 

• Sharpen musical and technical abilities in an ongoing way
• Lead contractors and volunteers to sharpen musical and production abilities
• Master and train teams in pro tools, ableton, and other experience-based systems
• Assist and train with all technical efforts
• Lead volunteer and contractor recruitment and development efforts

1. Support the Pastor and other team members on various projects

• Manage social media accounts; maintain event publications and onboard teams to develop and grow our online presence 
• Write and record original worship music
• Join the Executive Staff team and attend weekly meetings for mission fulfillment processes and vision casting in all areas to include worship, production, and social media.

• Highly talented vocalist
• Experience on keys, guitar, and/or other instruments
• Familiar with Pro Tools 
• Familiar with Ableton
• Familiar with Videography

1. Skills

• Must possess strong time management skills to include: organization, prioritization, verbal and written communication with follow up, goal setting, planning, delegation, punctuality and stress management
• Strong spiritual maturity
• Maintain composure during stressful situations

Working Conditions and Requirements 

This position receives general direction while working from established policies and objectives. This position plans and carries out assignments and will resolve most situations that arise. Completed work is generally monitored only to determine the effectiveness in meeting position/team objectives. This role works in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions. It is essential for this role to balance daily responsibilities while maintaining a high level of concentration and stress tolerance.The physical activity of this job includes sitting, standing, and walking for an extended period of time.This role regularly communicates through talking and hearing and must be able to do so efficiently and effectively.
