The Worship Leader position is a full-time role reporting to the Senior Pastor and responsible for overseeing the Worship and Student Ministries of the church, including weekly worship leading in service, service planning, volunteer recruitment and development, weekly Youth service, Youth discipleship and outreach, and Youth camps, retreats and special events. This role partners with the Senior Pastor to advance the mission of the church: To Glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who love God and love people.
Primary Worship Leader Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and develop musicians, vocalists and leaders for worship, production, and other ministries.
- Maintain worship team schedules (including rehearsal)
- Assist in establishing and maintaining Worship/Production budget
- Manage equipment necessary for Worship/Production teams
- Enhance and expand upon the team’s song list and arrangements
- Establish set-lists for all services and special events
- Maintain compliance with music and video copyright laws and licensing
- Other duties as assigned
Primary Youth Leader Responsibilities
- Cast/maintain a vision for Student Ministry that parallels the churches overall vision
- Identify, recruit, develop and lead a team of committed adult youth leaders
- Organize curriculum and activities to advance the spiritual maturity of our youth
- Prepare and teach messages for Youth Group
- Plan and lead ministry social media channels, special events, camps and retreats
- Regularly communicate with students and parents
- Maintain the Youth Ministry social media pages
- Grow the Youth Group through ministry discipleship, community, and outreach initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
