Position Title: Family Pastor, 40 hours per week
Compensation: 50K Package
Radford Baptist Church (RBC) is a local body of Christ with approximately 80-100 people who attend regularly on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. RBC is located in Moneta, Virginia, a rural community of Smith Mountain Lake. We are geographically about the same distance from the nearby cities of Roanoke and Lynchburg. Our church consists of a diverse group of families from various parts of the country. There are some who were born and raised in the area as well as those who have relocated to this area for “lake living.”
AWANA (age 2-5th grade), Youth Group (6th-12th grade), and Adult Bible study meet on Wednesday evenings. The youth group has approximately 25-30 Middle/High school students who attend. AWANA has approximately 20 students who attend.
We are seeking a Family Pastor who has a passion and calling for student ministry and can effectively teach the Word of God. He must be completely surrendered in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ and display that in front of others.

These three words embody the Great Commandment and the Great Commission in Matthew 28.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Meet qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
They must have a knowledge of the Word of God and be able to effectively teach it. (Colossians 3:16)
The Family Pastor must have the ability to counsel students and their families, providing Biblical guidance and direction. (2 Timothy 3:16)
