Will lead and over see the youth ministry of the church for teens age twelve- eighteen. Youth Pastor will lead teens to participate in the mission outreach of the church. The Youth Pastor will develop the youth in their walk with the Lord through Bible Study, mission engagement, relationship building, and mentoring. The youth pastor will attend weekly staff meetings. The Youth Pastor will be supervised by the Pastor. Currently, the job calls for teaching Youth Small group on Sunday morning and leading the weekly youth gathering on Wednesday nights. Youth Pastor will lead other opportunities for youth as appropriate . They will also coordinate with adult leaders in leading the youth ministry.
The church is located in a small town half way between Roanoke Va. and Martinsville Va. The church is mission focused with an annual mission trip to Hampton Roads Virginia, local mission Vacation Bible School, Jail Ministry, ministry at a local food pantry, Good News Club in local school, basketball outreach, and prior to Covid overseas mission projects.
