Community Campus Pastor

Cornerstone Church, located in San Francisco, California, is looking for a Community Campus Pastor for the Riordan campus. The ideal person for this position is both a shepherd and a catalyst. This role is the lynchpin for growth both wide and deep, from the first-time visitor to the 20+year member. In keeping cohesion between the ministries, events, outreach, and CornerstoneSF’s overarching mission, the Community Campus Pastor will be a part of a flourishing church in a world-class city. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing the ministry teams at Riordan 
• Leading and being involved in all events and services
• Fostering and encouraging an environment of recruitment and service
• Partnering with the Small Groups/Discipleship team to create and implement initiatives for spiritual growth and community life
• Creating dynamic events to attract visitors and reach out to the surrounding community 
• Maintaining relationship with Riordan school staff in conjunction with Riordan liaison

What you need to have:

• A thriving relationship with Jesus
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong leadership skills, with the ability to recruit and mobilize teams
• Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and catalyze positive change
• The ability to shepherd people from diverse ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures
• Ability to provide prayer, pastoral counseling, and biblical training
• Capability of sharing as part of a teaching or preaching team
