We are a vibrant Church who seek daily to live our baptismal promises, serve our community through a wide variety of ministries, and to be builders of God's Kingdom.
Christian Formation, especially for our young, is an essential element in achieving these objectives. We seek to provide our children and youth with learning and faith that is biblically based, relevant and authentic. We want them to be able to answer the question, "so what?" when peers ask them why their faith makes a difference to them.
The people of St. Matthias don't just want to go to church on Sunday, go home, and go about their week-to-come. The people of St. Matthias want to BE the church and to have a positive impact on our community.
