Harvest Baptist Church is located in northeast Ohio, 20 miles south of Youngstown, Ohio Harvest Baptist Church is seeking a strong, inspirational male leader for the position of pastor. We are especially interested in a person who will be both a preacher and a teacher. We desire someone who will preach biblical sermons, promote evangelism, support a strong youth ministry, provide guidance for daily living, and support our commitment to the community and is Missionary minded.
We have a committed congregation that is excited about working with a leader to help us grow in the spirit and serve our community through outreach. Our needs also include direction and leadership for a mid-sized church to grow our ministry, develop a responsible fiscal budget and direct our administrative activities. All applicants are welcome and encouraged.
Harvest Baptist Church is a church of approximately 60 active members of all ages. We are located south of Salem, north of Lisbon Ohio on State Route 45 (Columbiana County). We are blessed with a church facility equipped with an office, 6 Sunday School rooms, fellowship hall, kitchen, men’s and ladies restrooms, nursery and Sanctuary, and land that is wholly owned by the church. We are a warm, welcoming congregation that highly values Christianity, connection and family. Harvest Baptist supports monthly 6 missionaries around the globe. Our strong denominational traditions and worship activities are of great significance to us. We also recognize the need to continue to grow and evolve to effectively reach and minister to the dynamics or our community. The Church was started, by the current Pastor, in 1983.
Harvest Baptist offers a salary that is aligned with the community’s market conditions. An authorization for background check will be required before any offer will be officially extended.
